Being an idiot is now a fad and even a source of bragging, provided the people live to tell about it:

Rooftopping remained on the far fringes of culture just a few years ago, the CBC reports. It's the more daring offshoot of a decades-old pastime known as urban exploration — the infiltration of old buildings, subways and other abandoned structures.

But as the rise of Instagram lured more rooftop explorers to post sky-high, stomach-churning selfies, the act has found more eyeballs and adherents.

Civilization has literally hit rock bottom.

And who is to blame for the idiot from China's death a few weeks ago?  The answer should be obvious to all:

A shocking clip of what appeared to be his final moments - his fatal attempt to scale a building in Changsha city - began circulating online this week.
His death has prompted uneasy soul-searching over the "cash for clips" internet video industry. Questions are now being asked about whether these platforms, and their viewers, are in some way responsible for his death.

There is no fixing stupid.
______

Why should anybody be surprised the Kochs are involved?
