I took my dog, Duffy, to the Chinese New Year parade in Jacksonville, Oregon, which is sponsored by an association of Chinese-Americans in southern Oregon. I parked a little bit too far from downtown, and it was like pulling teeth to get Duffy to walk a mile or so both ways. He is a Lhasa Apso, which means he is a breed of dog who likes to do things on his terms whenever he feels like it.
Because of this, I missed the first part of the parade, but I did get a few pictures of the parade:
After the parade, which honored the Year of the Dog, a photo booth was available for people with their dogs, and with a donation, they could get a download and a free print. Duffy was not a willing participant, so he got a photograph in profile. During the wait in line, there were other dogs he paid attention to.
I love this Go Pro camera on the back of this pointer.
