We will see how much news there is to put here. Probably not much. I am still involved doing other things, so I doubt I will be blogging the way I blogged when I first started this blog almost 16 years ago.
So much of the news is so depressing, I just don't want to get my blood pressure up.
And what about the obituaries? Prominent people, at least those I have heard of, simply aren't dying off the way they should. It pisses me off, for that gives me even less incentive to blog here.
The fires are still going on in southern Oregon, but it has cooled off a bit, and there were clear skies last night. I could even see the stars at night, a privilege I have not had for the past couple of weeks.

In one bit of good news, Yosemite Valley will reopen on Tuesday after it had been closed for three weeks thanks to fires close to the area. The valley itself is in great shape.
