Here it is the second decade of the 21st century, and yet the 1950s still has a stranglehold on a significant part of the American population.  That, along with racist sentiments over the declining white birthrate, are what are driving the antiabortion antics of late.  It's all for nothing.

There is simply no chance, given the economic trends of the past 35 years, of the return to the 1950s nuclear family, especially when it was based on the ruinous "family wage" idea, which I have written about on a number of posts over the history of this blog (16 years in December).

If legal abortion is restricted or outlawed, women will reject relationships with men altogether than be forced into the 1950s mindset.  Not become lesbians, but simply not get involved with men at all as long as there is a risk of getting pregnant.  Any relationships with men will wait until menopause if they happen at all.  More and more men are going to find themselves being passed over because of women's desire for self-preservation.  You think incels are bad now?  Just wait until these idiots decide to outlaw abortion or restrict birth control.
