I am sicker than shit today thanks to a sinus infection, but it appears the Democrats have taken the House, the GOP retains the Senate, and Democrats have picked up some governorships. Gavin Newsom won the CA governorship, and Kate Brown appears to be returning to the Oregon governor's mansion. She had a harder contest this time than she should have had. The final result, though, was never in doubt.
Pretty good news overall. The GOP didn't have many Senate seats to defend this time around, and that is mostly why they retained the Senate.
