The Ivy League schools always were overrated.  Now I have another reason to think this is the case.

This is hilarious:

Oscar nominee Huffman and Fuller House star Loughlin are just two of 50 people indicted as part of what the FBI calls “Operation Varsity Blues,” a deep investigation into the potential corruption and fraud in the elite college admissions system. The bureau filed a report with the District Court of Massachusetts that outlines how the parents indicted have paid millions of dollars to schools such as Stanford, Yale and the University of Southern California to guarantee admission for their children. Several of the allegations involved William Singer, founder of a college prep business, who allegedly took money in exchange for hiring a person to take the SAT or ACT in place of the student applying for college admission.

Huffman and her husband William H. Macy were charged with disguising their bribe as a “charitable donation” of $15,000 to Singer’s organization to boost one of their two daughter’s SAT scores.
