Since  Joe Biden  has announced for president, he is the one to beat, warts and all.  Nobody else has a realistic shot at him unless he gets sick, which is my only concern thanks to his age of 76.  Certainly this dude has no shot whatsoever, let alone for the running mate job.  LGBs are a tiny portion of the population, and therefore this novelty campaign will go nowhere.

If I were a betting person, I would say the ticket will be Biden-Julian Castro.  A longer shot would be a woman on the ticket, but a large part of the electorate is so fucking stupid, I am not holding my breath it will ever happen that a woman gets elected VP, let alone be inaugurated president.  Biden, if elected, may end up being a one-term president who declines re-election because of advancing age.  The rest of the candidates running, after all, are running for the VP slot except the fraud Sanders.

The teacher should be fired over this.  Case law is very clear that student newspapers are not governed by the same "freedom of the press" rules as regular newspapers.  Administrators have the right to veto articles.

Since she has taught for 33 years, she will likely take early retirement.

Obituary:  NBA great John Havlicek, 79, has reportedly died.

Havlicek was known for his endless energy on the court. He led the NBA in minutes played in both the 1970-71 and 1971-72 seasons.

"The dude ran all day. Never stopped," Maxwell said. "He wouldn't take long strides -- they were little, choppy steps -- but he was gone. When people used to say, 'You cannot hit a moving target,' that made me think of John."

Havlicek also made one of the most iconic plays in NBA history.

After Bill Russell committed a turnover with five seconds remaining in Game 7 of the 1965 Eastern Conference finals, the Philadelphia 76ers had a chance to inbound the ball and win the game. But Havlicek anticipated Hal Greer's pass to Chet Walker and stole it, then got it to Jones to run out the clock and preserve the victory. The Celtics went on to beat the Los Angeles Lakers to win that year's NBA championship.

Havlicek suffered from Parkinson's disease.
