Diamond in later years

Obituary:  Attorney and one-time child actor Bobby Diamond, 75, has died after a battle with cancer.  For vintage television fans, he is best remembered for playing Joey Newton, the son of the character played by Peter Graves, in the 1950s series Fury.  

He decided on law school after acting and had been in the field for decades.

Diamond also starred with Jack Klugman on "In Praise of Pip," a 1963 episode of The Twilight Zone, and played Duncan "Dunky" Gillis, a cousin of Dwayne Hickman's title character, on the final season of another CBS series, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

Legend has it he was in the running to portray Robin the Boy Wonder on ABC's Batman before producers decided that at 21 he was too old and went with Burt Ward instead.

On Fury — "the story of a horse and the boy who loves him," as it said in the opening — Diamond starred as Joey Clark, a troubled youngster. He's adopted by Graves' Jim Newton, the owner of the Broken Wheel Ranch in California, and forms a strong bond with a wild horse named Fury. (Newton's wife and son recently had been killed by a drunk driver.)

The show ran for five seasons, from October 1955 through March 1960, and then for years afterward in syndication.

The article notes he made a bad acting career decision when he turned down a role in the hit series, My Three Sons, in favor of a series which flopped.

I can't believe the NYT actually published my comment:

A feeling in one's head or a self-declaration can never, ever, ever be a substitute for the reality of sex. Sex roles, "gender," are not sex but merely constructs. Male and female are not despite attempts by some to muddy the waters. Anybody who uses "gender identity," which doesn't in fact exist because nobody can identify as a sex role, in place of sex basically obliterates women and girls as a protected class. I support Trump rolling back all of the Obama administration's illegal attempts to subvert women's and girls' protections in order to pander to the transgender crowd.
Obama did this streamrolling over women's rights without any debate whatsoever. This is how the twisting of Title IX, which clearly states "sex" to mean "gender identity" got started. There is no support for this nonsense of "gender identity" in the population at large.

Religion is always the last refuge of a scoundrel, at least one who spent much of his life living in his mother's basement.

Expect Jim Bakker or Dr. James Dobson to have Roosh V.  on their programs talking about his newfound religious faith.

I suspect Roosh is desperate to find a woman--any woman--and thinks he can pick up women in churches and such.
