Even televangelist Pat Robertson, of all the people in the world, is against the Alabama abortion law--currently unenforceable--because he considers it way too extreme.  He believes the law would lose in the courts.

Abortion has never been about the fetus or embryo anyway.  It has always been about women and their role in society, whether they have a right to be in the public sphere as full human beings or whether they are only good for being at home as sexual and reproductive property of men.
