Two American climbers have been pictured as the search for their party of eight mountaineers continued for a second day on Sunday.

Searches have been taking place in a bid to find the missing group which include 63-year-old Anthony Sudekum from Missouri and Ronald Beimel, 34, from Los Angeles.

The alarm was first raised on Friday morning but hopes are fading fast and Indian rescuers say the chances of finding them at all in the Himalayas are 'bleak'.
