Obituary: One-time actress Denise Nickerson, 62, died after being taken off life support. She never recovered from suffering a stroke a year ago.
In her youth, she was known for performances like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but eventually she quit acting altogether at age 21 in order to pursue a career in nursing.
