Obituary:  Best-selling romance novelist Johanna Lindsey, 67, has died after a long battle with lung cancer.  Her son announced her death.  She died October 27, but the family had been too distraught over her death to make it public until today.

Lindsey started her career in the 70s and released her first title 'Captive Bride' in 1977.

Captive Bride told the story of an Englishwomn who was kidnapped by a sheik.

Following her first novel, which was published by Avon Books, Lindsey began writing and publishing two books per year.
