WCSD gossip:  Looks like interim superintendent Kristen McNeill is among the finalists for the superintendent job at WCSD.  This despite the fact she didn't make the cut for the top five according to the search outfit that recruited superintendent candidates throughout the country.

In addition to McNeill, the list of finalists includes Alexa Cunningham of Salt Lake City Schools, Warren Shillenberg of Higley Unified School District in Arizona, Marshall Tuck of an outfit dealing with L.A. Public Schools, and Antwan Wilson,  formerly of Oakland Unified School District and Denver Public Schools.

The money is on the insider to take the job as the "search" is a mere formality.
