As I was returning from my hike in the Jacksonville Woodlands, I saw a couple of people put up signs to "Recall Kate Brown."  This crap has been going on forever with the rednecks from the rural part of the state.  Of course, they hate her now because of COVID-19 policies.  It is a waste of time to have a recall.  Nobody up north is going to go for this, and this is where the vast majority of the population of the state lives.  Nobody gives a shit about hicks in the southern end of the state.

This erasure of the word "woman" has GOT to stop.  There is NO fucking thing as a "trans man"--they are still women.  This abuse of the language has to end.

The American Cancer Society has been slammed for using the phrase 'individuals with a cervix' in its latest pap screening advice, rather than women.

Cervical cancer screening is now recommended to start at 25, instead of 21, and HPV testing should begin at 25 rather than 30.

But in updating its advice, the ACS used 'individuals with a cervix', rather than 'women' in their guidance, because transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming individuals can also have a cervix.

The phrasing was ridiculed online, with one Twitter user saying: 'Individuals with a cervix is a long way to just say women.'

Stop queering public health with this bullshit, please.
