Preakness 2020 Results

In an exciting race, Swiss Skydiver, the filly, just edged out favorite Authentic to win this year's Preakness.  It was a photo, but she clearly got the nod.  She won by a neck.

She was the first filly to win the race since Rachel Alexandra in 2009 and the sixth overall in the history of the race.

Jesus' Team was third, while Art Collector was fourth.

The victory was the first Preakness win for trainer Kenny McPeek.  Bob Baffert, seeking his eighth Preakness, came up short.

The time was 1:53.28, not far off Secretariat's stakes record.

Kentucky Derby winner Authentic is the morning line favorite for today's race.

Tiz the Law's connections decided to skip this year's race.  The horse won the Belmont Stakes back in June.
