Yes, indeed people are turning into monsters. Trump brought out the worst in himself and his followers.
_____
It may be several days before we know who won the election, but at this juncture, despite some setbacks for Biden in some battleground states, he could well pull off a win eventually. This is probably why Trump was so bent on having the votes not count if they were not counted by the end of tonight. He knows there are a shit ton of outstanding ballots yet to be counted.
There are tons upon tons of absentee/mail-in votes that have yet to be counted in the Great Lakes states.
Results:
Biden: Vermont, Virginia, Illinois, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, California, Maryland, New York,
The big flip was Arizona went for Biden, with Maricopa County winning the day for him.
Trump: Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, I believe he took Ohio,
The most corrupt senator in Washington, McConnell, won yet another term. Hard for anybody to beat an incumbent, even if that incumbent is hated in his own state.
John Hickenlooper won Colorado Senate seat. Doug Jones lost his Alabama seat.
Since there are so many votes outstanding, and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania will not be decided tonight, who wins the election might not be known until tomorrow.
If Trump pulls off a victory, this country is truly fucked, and voters have no one to blame but themselves.
I don't believe this country could survive another four years of a madman. I hope sanity will prevail.
The country could very well break up if Trump gets in there again.
There are a lot of stupid people in this country. It is because of this knowledge that I don't post many long posts anymore on this blog, let alone explicitly political posts here anymore in the nearly 18 years of this blog. It is too depressing, and I don't need it at my age.
PA says they won't be done counting until Friday. Fulton Co GA won't be done counting till Friday. @USPS has lost almost 300,000 ballots that a federal judge demands they discover. No one can declare victory tonight. Or even tomorrow. Probably not until next week
