Hello and Goodbye

 I have a fairly deep cut in my finger, so I can't do a lot of typing, but today was almost anticlimatic, with the Biden and Harris inaugurations going as planned and without any hitch whatsoever.  It was a perfect but cold day in D.C. with a small crowd of dignitaries thanks to COVID.  If there were any protests at all, they were small and far away.  Maybe the radical right has finally gotten a clue.  Maybe they finally accepted the truth Trump didn't give a shit about any of them.  Or perhaps these would-be terrorists decided to go underground, but that is increasingly difficult for them since they are now closely monitored by law enforcement.

Arrests continue with those involved in the January 6 insurrection.

Trump, whose wife Melania looked the happiest she has looked in years, gave a rambling speech to a very small group of admirers, and rambling as usual:
