Obituary: It is now official that actress Tanya Roberts, 65, did pass away. There was a premature death announcement, which was pulled yesterday since she was still alive, but now this death announcement is for real.
Actor Tanya Roberts, best known for the James Bond film “A View to a Kill” and television's "That ’70s Show," died on Monday night a day after her passing was incorrectly reported, her publicist and partner said.
Roberts, 65, passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, the actress' long-time partner, Lance O'Brien, and her spokesman Mike Pingel both told NBC News on Tuesday.
Roberts was suffering from a urinary tract infection which spread to her kidney and gall bladder, according to both men. They said she was not suffering from Covid-19.

Why is it Trump will get away with it?
Snip:
The consequence of four years without consequences isn’t going to be a reversion to all the norms and values that came before. It will be a spreading of anti-democratic, illiberal, and purposively small, petty, performative shabbiness that will always seem, in the moment, too silly to matter, and that will continue to be, going forward, too important to ignore. Trump was always the symptom, not the disease, and our distaste for curing it will mean that we spend the coming years coughing, choking, and gasping for air, from something at once too trivial to hurt us and too contagious to be stopped.

It appears Rev. Rafael Warnock has beaten the rather ethically challenged incumbent senator Kelly Loeffler for the Georgia Senate seat. It seems likely Jon Ossoff, just 33, will eke out a win over incumbent senator David Perdue. Most of what remains of the vote count is from heavily Democratic areas. Both races were close.
If both have won, it means Democrats barely control the Senate thanks to VP Kamala Harris' tie-breaking vote, which means Mitch McConnell--hopefully--goes into much-deserved obscurity. In 2022, with more Republican seats up for grabs, Democrats can increase their margin.
