Obituary:  One of the original members of the Supremes, Mary Wilson, has died at the age of 76 at her home in Henderson, Nevada, her publicist announced.

Diana Ross is the last surviving original member now.  The other original member, Florence Ballard, died decades ago, in 1976. She died of cardiac arrest at the age of only 32 as a result of a blood clot.

Snip:

Wilson was a "trendsetter who broke down social, racial, and gender barriers," Schwartz said in his statement.
She began her career in Detroit in 1959 as a singer in what was then called "The Primettes." They went on to become "The Supremes," Motown's most successful group of the 1960s, with 12 number one singles including "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," and "Stop! In the name of Love."

Today is the really big shew in Washington, D.C., as the second impeachment trial of former president Donald Trump is scheduled to begin.

Basically, Trump has no defense at all given the overwhelming evidence of guilt.  Since the general consensus is that Trump will once again walk because not enough GOP will convict him of basically threatening their lives, this trial is for the historic record.

Indeed, this trial is more important than the first.
