Yes, I watched (most) of the Harry and Meghan interview with Oprah Sunday night. Outside of a few moments, it was mostly boring. It appears Piers Morgan, who Meghan once turned down and then didn't invite to her wedding to the prince, can't stand the heat:
He is one of the most vicious quasi-journalists out there. Morgan also pens a column for the Daily Mail. He has spent some four years on a vendetta against Meghan Markle, and it is personal with him. Unfortunately, millions of British (and not a few outside the UK) believe every bit of swill Morgan spews.
Despite Markle's dad being an obvious betrayer and grifter, Morgan and his ilk give lots of airtime (as well as money) for the poor little abused daddy to spew more nonsense about his daughter. It's great for ratings:
To hear the Brits like Morgan tell it, Markle's claims on the Oprah interview have put the monarchy in jeopardy. I don't buy it. It has withstood a lot worse.
