North Carolina jumps into the fracas.

Since its governor is Democratic, I doubt the legislature could override a veto, unlike Arkansas.

The NC bill is right here.  It sounds like common sense to me.  It is very well done.

Obituary:  Attorney and MSNBC legal analyst Midwin Charles, only 47, has died of undisclosed causes.

Charles was born and raised in Brooklyn before earning her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, then studying law at American University, according to her bio.

She later founded the law firm Midwin Charles & Associates in New York City.

Way too young to die.
