This double murderer is guilty as sin, yet an appeals court overturns his murder conviction on a technicality. Once more, the taxpayers are going to foot the bill for a retrial and yet another round of appeals.
This case is well-known as a landmark in genetic genealogy. Talbott was the first person convicted on evidence of genetic genealogy. He's guilty, no question of it, but a juror supposedly had some kind of bias, so his conviction gets overturned.
