Telling the truth men can't be women and vice versa, and you would lose your university job, tenure or no.  Making an idiot out of yourself by wishing the late Queen Elizabeth II a painful death guarantees you a job for life.

Obituary:  Not dancing on his grave but also not crying my eyes out.  One-time Clinton persecutor Ken Starr, 76, an "independent counsel" who tried and ultimately failed to find any real wrongdoing by the former president, died.  He died from surgery complications in Houston.

Starr was one arm of a bunch of arms of people who tried and ultimately failed to destabilize a Democratic president's administration by putting forward a bunch of bogus "scandals" for one reason, and one reason only:  The Republicans were afraid of Democrats making inroads in the South and thus threatened the GOP's "Southern Strategy."  This is ultimately what all the nonsense "scandals" beginning with Whitewater were all about.  It was something how they were timed for political impact and then, every time there was an election year, the same stories would be recycled.  It was uncanny.  Ken Starr was one tool in the arsenal of the GOP.  The millions of dollars wasted on dumb investigations were nothing.  When the GOP LOST seats and House Speaker Newt Gingrich resigned as a result of those losses, his right-hand man, Tom DeLay threw a political hissy fit and rammed through a fraudulent impeachment.

Snip:

Raised in small-town East Texas, Starr was described as a "chubby little fellow" and straight-A student in one Washington Post profile from 1998. Starr earned a law degree from Duke University before clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger in the mid-1970s. After a stint in private practice, Starr joined the Justice Department at the beginning of the Reagan administration.

President Ronald Reagan appointed Starr to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 1983 and he remained on the bench until 1989, when President George H.W. Bush appointed him U.S. solicitor general.
