It Never Was a "Polarizing Issue"

The public has NEVER been anywhere evenly divided over the abortion issue, not at least since when abortion laws started to become liberalized in the 1960s.  This recent poll from Pew pretty much supports my assertion.  The problem is with these religious nutter politicians who have largely been gerrymandered into getting elected to various states and thus ignore the will of the public.  Only the LDS-heavy states like Idaho and Utah could it be said that the population is even remotely divided over the topic.

As I have mentioned before, only those people who live in those two states might vote for antiabortion measures if put to the voting population.  However, such nonsense would be defeated elsewhere.

The nutters know this, but they don't care as long as they control legislatures and the courts.  They even have it to the point where a single judge, such as that one in Texas, who could conceivably outlaw abortion medication nationwide.  This kind of control should not even be allowed.
