Obituary: Noted composer Burt Bacharach, 94, has died. Hard to believe he was that old. He composed some of the most noted songs of the 1960s and 1970s. He was also once married to actress Angie Dickinson, who is also in her nineties now. Where has the time gone?
He remained active in his career way into old age.

During his seven-decade career, he won a lifetime achievement award and wrote for stars including Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black, Tom Jones and Dusty Springfield.
The star teamed up with Dionne Warwick in 1961 – with 39 of her char hits written by the duo.
His work was also covered by Elvis Presley, the Beatles and Frank Sinatra, as well as more modern artists - White Stripes, Twista and Ashanti.
