Yesterday afternoon was truly bizarro, as Judge Kacsmaryk, the right-wing Texas judge, decided to continue to put a nationwide halt on mifepristone, the so-called "abortion pill," although he has no legal authority to do so. The ruling is complete bullshit.
Shortly thereafter, a Washington judge decided the FDA could keep the drug on the market.
Either the second judge got wind of Kacsmaryk's intentions, or else the two were working in tandem in order for Judge K. to save his ass with the antiabortion nutters since there is absolutely NO legal justification whatsoever for his ruling. That ruling is in effect while the government appeals.
It is all a big crock of steaming dung.

Why, may I ask, was the Comstock Act not repealed decades ago?
You know these bastards are coming after contraception.
We have assholes on the right, and assholes on the left, both see women as objects, as "resources" to exploit.
It is despicable.
