The SBC, already suffering from scandal similar to what happened with the Roman Catholic Church, digs its stubborn heels in and steadfastly refuses to acknowledge women as human beings.
Membership will continue to plummet. The 1950s are long dead.

Reporters need to understand the difference between a resolution and a bill. A resolution has NO teeth at all in terms of law--it is merely advisory or takes a stand against what a president does. A president can veto a resolution, but a BILL actually becomes part of the U.S. Code if passed and signed by the president.
What the GOP members of Congress is they are putting through meaningless resolutions knowing they aren't laws and throwing red meat to their supporters.
