It is scary upon first glance, but how could such ordinances even be enforced?  How would anybody know a woman or girl was pregnant, let alone know somebody was helping her get an abortion?  

The antiabortion crowd is simply unhinged in their zeal to shame women back into patriarchal ideas about marriage and family.  It isn't going to work.

Champion racehorse Ruffian's remains were moved from Belmont Park to Claiborne Farm in Kentucky, where she was foaled.

Apparently Belmont Park decided horses buried in the infield had to be moved elsewhere to make room for a new synthetic one-mile track.  Ruffian's grave was in the direct path of new track.   Timely Writer's remains were brought to Old Friends Farm in Kentucky.  He was buried there in 1982.

If these three initiatives ever make it on the California ballot, I expect them to win handily.  They will drive a stake into the trans movement once and for all.
