Unbelievably, today marks the 60th anniversary of the JFK assassination in Dallas. Of course, there are many articles and videos about it, and people can always view the original television coverage on YouTube channels.
I want to link this article from the Dallas Morning News noting the strange fact that not a single president of the United States has ever made a trip through Dealey Plaza, not even laying a wreath in memory of JFK. Not a visit to the 6th Floor Memorial in the old Texas Book Depository. The 11 presidents since JFK have made numerous trips to Dallas, but none have ever gone to The Site.
In my own life, in many ways the assassination seems like yesterday, but then in other ways it does indeed seem like a long, long time ago. I was only eight years old, almost nine, when it happened. I will never forget it.

A new book is coming out which discusses among other things the feud between the Falwell brothers.
