A Few Reads for Thursday

 A few days ago, writer and founder of the online site Salon, David Talbot, suffered a near-fatal stroke, and he and his wife's situation is very precarious indeed.

The religious nuts won't stop with abortion.  Next on their radar are no-fault divorce laws, which in fact have helped women and children immensely thanks to a dramatic reduction in domestic violence.

They literally despise women and their having any rights.  These nutjobs are really screwed up.

Of course, today's big story had to do with the USSC's decision on mifepristone, which they threw the case out before them for the plaintiffs not having "standing" to prove any kind of harm.  That was expected..  Naturally, people should not relax over their unanimous decision, for the antiabortion crowd have a number of related cases that they think they can win on this issue, plus they are counting on a Trump victory this fall, which we better pray never happens.
