Some Tuesday Reads

In what could be good news for yours truly, the House passed the Social Security Fairness Act, thanks to a procedural maneuver to bypass the Ways and Means committee and put it up to a vote by the entire House.

The Senate has its identical version of the House bill.  It has 62 co-sponsors.   If it passes Congress, President Biden will sign it into law.

I would get an extra $120 a month on my Social Security benefit.  Let's just hope Trump and company don't pull shit with the Third Rail.

The House vote was overwhelming for repeal: 327 to 75.  The  Senate will likely do the same and then Biden will sign it into law.

I think there may be issues with the GPO because of the dual entitlement rule, but repeal of the WEP is long overdue.
