Apparently the FBI has confirmed that infamous Missouri fugitive Sharon Kinne, around 83, died in 2022 after fingerprints of a woman had been tested and were found to be a match. There are few articles to note this, but a rumor had apparently been officially confirmed by the FBI.
Kinne was responsible for at least two deaths back in the 1960s--one of a woman she killed who had been the wife of a man Kinne was having an affair with, and, after having run away to Mexico, shot and killed a man there and went to prison for it. Kinne was also believed to have killed her husband, but she pinned the shooting on her toddler or pre-school daughter. She was acquitted of killing the woman, and, continuing her luck, had the conviction of killing her husband reversed on appeal and was tried again. It ended in a hung jury and it was declared a mistrial. When she was out on bond, she decamped to Mexico. I could be a little bit wrong on the details as I am doing this from memory. Anyway, Kinne was convicted in Mexico for the Mexico shooting and was serving time in prison when she escaped in 1969 and was never heard from again.
Many believed she had died then, but apparently not. She lived out her days in obscurity.
