Obituary: Some sad news to mention that noted writer and blogger Kevin Drum, whose Calpundit was one of the earliest of the blogs and later wrote for publications like Washington Monthly and Mother Jones and finally returned to blogging, passed away on March 7 after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was 66 years old. He was good at explaining somewhat complicated or complex subjects and was noted for his Friday cat blogging posts.
