I Probably Should Quit Reading About Congress

for the next couple of years, maybe the rest of my life, what's left of it, but I will note the Times notes the departure of popular Florida congressman Alan Grayson, one of a diminishing breed of Democrats, not these fakers such as those inhabiting the White House.

Why is Alan Grayson, who simply has the audacity to tell the truth about the other side, considered some sort of demagogue?

Grayson's problem is he isn't "civil," or he doesn't bend over and take the GOP's shit.

If this were about Dennis Kucinich, I would be all ears about it. Kucinich is merely a grandstander who has accomplished very little in his tenure.

When a Rare Politician Tells the Truth

about the opposition, he or she can expect major blowback from both political parties.

The GOP couldn't care less if people die because they are uninsured or underinsured. They have theirs while everybody else can go to hell.
