The following are clips of former president Bill Clinton's speech at North Medford High School, Medford, Oregon, on March 30, 2008. Over 1,000 people were there to see him.
I recorded all but about the last ten minutes of this speech. I guess I will need a bigger battery pack/more tapes in order to tape political speeches. When I used my Hi8 camcorder, I was always able to get the speeches, at least when the battery was charged up. Someday I will get those videos up for people to enjoy.
The remarks I recorded run about an hour.

Former President Bill Clinton came to Medford, Oregon, today to campaign on behalf of his wife Hillary. He spoke to a crowd of some 2,000 people, including yours truly and sister, both of which got close enough to him to get video, good pictures, handshakes from the former president (I got to shake hands with him twice this time), and receive autographs from two copies of his books.
The Mail Tribune of Medford will have more tomorrow about his visit. He spoke for over an hour, longer than my camcorder tape and battery held up. I got most of his remarks.
More Campaign Stuff.
Bill Clinton will be in Medford, Oregon, on Sunday at Hedrick Middle School. Since I am going to be in town, I plan to attend.
It would be only the third time I have seen him in person. If possible, I will get him to sign my copy of his autobiography.
I have written about how fast he is about signing autographs.
