I am glad I miss Oprah Winfrey's program as much as I can so I can miss lies being told about public school "tenure," deliberately confused with college and university tenure, to make people think teachers can't be removed. Never mind they can and are very easily, thanks to the manipulation of administrative statutes and the legal system by school districts. Teachers have no legal rights at all.

But what do I know as a teacher who went through these sham hearings in order for the district to protect an incompetent principal? These billionaires know more, including Oprah, who has problems with schools she is running.

This writer uses his stupid theory about sex to trash Bill Clinton for starting this. Actually he didn't; he was a victim of a would-be coup attempt by the radicals of the Republican Party. The Lewinsky thing was used to merely shit on Clinton in order to improve the Republican Party's chances in the 1998 elections, which didn't happen.

"Sex," such as it was, and it wasn't much, was used for political smear purposes only in this case.

But if you're looking at adultery as some kind of whatever to support whatever nutty political theory, you should look no further than John McCain. It isn't just that he has a much-younger wife; it's that he ditched his first wife for her and had screwed around with other women even before he met Cindy Hensley while married to wife number one. McCain has admitted it, and nobody gives a shit.

And nobody should.

As for Spitzer, it was more the hypocrisy than the "adultery" when he screwed around with prostitutes when he made his name going after prostitution rings. He couldn't fight the charges; he was done as a politician.

It's not just the stupidity of the theory in the article; it's also the blatant sexism in it regarding Hillary Clinton and her supporters.

In case anybody cares, Ashley Alexandra Dupre is the hooker who is at the center of the Spitzer scandal.

She is an aspiring musician, and she got plenty of gigs to practice her art. Spitzer, for example, paid out $4,000 for her performances.

An Embarrassed

and embarrassing Client-9 gave this news conference:

has a new nickname: "Client-9."

This isn't something that happened years ago, either. This alleged occurrance happened about a month ago.

It makes one wonder what in the hell kind of kinky shit Spitzer was into. Coincidentally, on my iPod I was listening to the Velvet Underground's sordid classic recording about sadomasochism, "Venus in Furs," when this news surfaced.

Client-9, whose conversations were recorded by an FBI wiretap, would not do "traditional wire transferring," the affidavit quotes one Emperors Club employee remarking. Additionally, the affidavit notes that after her appointment with Client-9 ended, "Kristen" spoke with a Emperors Club booker, who said that she had been told that Client-9 "would ask you to do things that, like, you might not think were safe..." "Kristen" responded by saying, essentially, that she could handle guys like that. (6 pages)

there are a lot of stupid politicians and a lot of politicians who do stupid things that endanger their careers. Case in point is New York's Eliot Spitzer, who has admitted to being involved in a prostitution ring:

Gov. Eliot Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, an administration official said this morning.

Mr. Spitzer, who was huddled with his top aides inside his Fifth Avenue apartment early this afternoon, had hours earlier abruptly canceled his scheduled public events for the day. He had scheduled an announcement for 2:15 this afternoon after inquiries from the Times. But his appearance was delayed by at least 45 minutes.

I suppose he will have to step down.

According to rumors, he will.

Apparently he's apologized, but he hasn't bailed.

What a goddamned idiot.

Hillary Clinton

runs a hell of a tight ship when it comes to her campaign.

Or at least did, until the past couple of weeks when things began to unravel.

I notice the absolute assholism--there is no other word to describe it--of Clinton supporters on message boards and blogs. Not all of them are assholes, but there are way more of them than for other candidates. If you dare state the obvious about her candidacy, that it is merely a way for her old man to get back in legally, you get labeled a sexist. If you dare point out some of her recent troubles, you are a sexist and anti-Hillary. It's all about shutting out any debate, and never mind her obvious vulnerabilities as a general election candidate. And by God, nobody is allowed to criticize her.

It's the head-up-ass mentality of the Clinton supporters who won't face electoral reality.

Almost all Hillary supporters I have met in real life aren't that way; it appears the anonymity of message boards and blogs bring out the asshole in people.

In somewhat related news, Eliot Spitzer, like Hillary, was for giving driver's licenses to illegals before he was against it. The losing proposition has been shelved:

Mr. Spitzer’s plan touched off a national debate over whether issuing licenses to illegal immigrants would make the state more secure or improperly extend a privilege to them that should be reserved for those here legally.

Opposition to the proposal sent his poll numbers plunging and completely stalled his broader agenda.

Just in time for Thursday's Democratic debate in Vegas. Now Hillary will be off the hook.
