Fritzl.

Josef Fritzl will see his family for the first time since his arrest, but it won't be in person.

Fritzl.

It's not very likely the boy couldn't help it when he committed his monstrous crimes:

But top psychiatrist Dr Christian Ludke rejected that claim, saying: "The criminal energy of this man is unbelievable. He is ice-cold and is still playing power games. We can only separate him from society."

Dr Ludke compared Fritzl to the fictional Dr Frankenstein, who created a monster he thought he could control.

The shrink said: "Fritzl enjoyed being master of life and death. He enjoyed his fantasy of having all the power, he was like Dr Frankenstein."

Not surprisingly, he is found to have sick fantasies, which he inflicted on his daughter.

Elisabeth Fritzl's attorneys are looking into taking legal action against the media for violating her privacy:

For the purposes of the lawsuits, Mr Herbst is to introduce Elisabeth to the details of the media coverage of her case from which she has previously been shielded.

Mr Herbst said: “We will take legal action against some media already this week, as in order to counter the perpetual sensationalist reporting. For the purpose of getting Elisabeth Fritzl’s approval for the legal measures, she will be now be updated with the current state of affairs regarding the coverage.”

Not surprisingly, police have revealed there was so little oxygen in the cellar where Elisabeth and her children were held captive by the Incest Monster, they could only sit or lie down most of the time.

No more than four officers could go in the dungeon at a time. It is covered in mildew, and the occupants now suffer from fungal infections.

More details are emerging about the health of the two oldest children. Stefan, 18, has difficulty moving because of "motor neuron problems." Kerstin, 19, has a form of epilepsy believed to be inherited from the family.

Fritzl has been remanded in custody for another month.
_____

Little Felix is described as making an "amazing" recovery from all of those years in the cellar.
_____

Stefan Fritzl, meanwhile, could hold the key to the murder charge leveled against his father/grandfather.

In light of the Fritzl case, NOW Austria is considering tightening its sex offender laws and opening up criminal records for social service agencies.

The Case

has certainly brought the visits here. I have had two days in a row where this blog reached over 1,000 visits, a lot for this place considering I don't publicize it much at all.

I am getting visits from Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, the Netherlands, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Canada, and of course all over the United States. I have always had visits from all over the globe, but this case has accelerated the visits.
