Molly

Some pictures taken in the past week of my dog, Molly.  One of these days in the near future I will get another dog, but I am still grieving over the loss of my other dog, Duffy, this past May.

Sunday Dog Pictures

I haven't put up dog pictures in a long, long time.  Duffy is the Lhasa apso, while Molly is a chihuahua-dachshund mix.  Duffy is 12 years old, while Molly is 4.

At the Dog Park

My dogs, Duffy and Molly, really enjoy their trips at the dog park.  Later on, they visited other dogs in the section for larger dogs.

Some Pictures of Molly

Last week, the first day of spring in fact, marked the first anniversary of my adopting Molly.  She is now a year-and-a-half old.  She has mellow out a lot since I got her fixed last December.

Last week I received a 50mm lens for my Canon Rebel T5 camera.  I decided to practice using it on Molly.  I like the results:

Duffy and Molly

Eight months after my beloved chihuahua Sam passed, another dog came into my life last week.  A co-worker of mine had saved a chihuahua mix (she's probably mixed with dachshund because her body is a bit too long to be a purebred chi) from being within an inch of her life near the courthouse in Medford.  She was nearly hit by an RV, and then the co-worker and her son spent two hours trying to coax the dog from under a car.  She spent four days with her family, but her dogs were throwing a fit, so she had to give the dog up.  She had advertised her on Facebook and Craigslist, but nobody ever came to claim her.  I ended up with her last Wednesday.

She is cute, but since she is likely under a year old, she still has chewing on her mind.  She went through five toys, a harness that had been Sam's, a leash that had been Tony and Sam's before I realized I needed to get her only rubber toys and chewable/edible ones.

Here are some pictures of her as well as a couple of Duffy taken a few minutes ago.  Sorry the floor is dirty:
