think they can talk intelligently about education by spewing anti-teacher talking points. It's obvious they know nothing about the field and what REALLY goes on in public education.

The problem is with administrators, who are not held accountable for their actions.

Clark County commissioner, candidate for the Nevada governorship, and son of Senator Harry Reid, formally announced his candidacy in northern Nevada this evening. He announced in southern Nevada yesterday. Here are a few pictures of the event:

Nevada Republicans Saved Themselves

from political disaster next year, for now that Barbara Buckley is out of the running for the Nevada governorship, and the unimpressive Rory Reid, son of Senator Harry, will likely get the Democratic nomination, Republican Brian Sandoval will become the next governor of Nevada.

I don't think there is any doubt about it. Sandoval will be a shoo-in.

I hope Democrats can do better than this in 2010.

Nevada Caucus.

Rory Reid needs to back off putting any pressure on the state SEIU to endorse his candidate.

Right now it is reportedly leaning towards John Edwards.
