Leading sire Seeking the Gold has been pensioned. He will be 24 next year.
Horse racing deaths include Canadian sires Mazel Trick and Regal Intention. Mazel Trick, 13, was euthanized because of complications from laminitis, and Regal Intention, 23, was found dead in his paddock.
