Since clothing sizes are not standardized, there is no point for women buying anything other than XS-XXXL or whatever the range is today. Even that is not foolproof, especially when buying "women's cut" t-shirts, which are not like men's at all and instead are designed to sexualize women by being form fitting. Even "extra large" is too small on most women.
One of the big problems is almost all textiles have been "outsourced" to Asian countries, especially China, and China's sizing is not to be trusted at all.
The vast majority of women have NEVER had "hour-glass" figures naturally; only about eight percent of women are said to have the "ideal" figure of a "hour glass" shape. What gets me is the old "beauty standard" of 36-24-36 is extremely tiny and all but impossible for women over five feet tall to attain, especially the hip measurement. People don't realize how impossibly tiny that is; women who are that small have no hips at all and have extremely small frames. The bust size too is extremely small--this is not referring to bra size, either, but the actual circumference over the bust, which translated is probably a size 30 or 32 C or D bra. Yet the fashion industry wants to pretend the "hour glass" figure is "natural" for women.
The article is deceptive about the prevalence of the "hour glass shape" women. Women in the past were heavily corseted. Even as recently as the 1950s, women were corseted into the fashions to get that "hour glass" silhouette. Women wore scaled-down versions of the old corsets--"corselettes" is what they were called.
Rectangular and apple-shaped bodies are vastly more common and always were with women. Designers don't give a shit, however, for having unwearable clothes helps to force women to undergo cosmetic surgery or "dieting" to fit the clothes. What a goddamned scam the "beauty" industry in all its forms is.
All of it designed for the male gaze. Men, however, can look as shitty as they want to.

Millennial Women Are a Bust
I might as well have a pun in there somewhere. These dumb women could ask baby boom women why the "braless" look, including wearing "natural cup" bras, went out of style in the past decade or two. The reason is that women do NOT look good at all without wearing support, and bras without lining are almost as bad.
Back in the day of the late 1960s, with the counterculture movement, going braless was considered part of the back-to-nature bullshit. Back then women's bras were made for support and modesty, so padded bras and underwire bras for women with larger breasts were commonplace. Somehow though, bra manufacturers got the idea that if women were uncomfortable with going braless but still wanted the look of not wearing one, then there should be bras made without lining or padding. "Sexiness" was in, modesty was out.
Let me tell you, it was hell finding bras back in the 1970s and 1980s that were not "natural cup." It was virtually impossible to find them. Underwire bras continued to exist though many women didn't like them because, thanks to not wearing the correct size bra in the first place, the underwire would poke and pinch. Women like me who HATED the "natural cup" bras had to make do with stuffing the goddamned things with Kleenex or toilet paper so that the nipples wouldn't show. There were not concealers then. Maybe some dudes like them showing, but I can say no woman looks good with them showing under clothes. Camisoles weren't an adequate solution for that problem.
Eventually baby boom women got older, and more and more of them finally realized that going braless or wearing natural cup bras did NOT look good and certainly were not professional in a workplace. Demand changed, and by around 2000 more and more stores started stocking bras with lining. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven when they came back into style. No more did I have to worry about stuffing my bra cups with t.p. or Kleenex, thus saving trees.
So these idiot millennial women, who somehow think they are in the vanguard of something new, are still acting like a bunch of immature children and don't understand that more coverage is better. They can deny it all they want, but the real reason they "want" to go braless or wear shit "natural cup" bras is for male attention. It won't be long before they learn the lessons of the baby boom generation.

Trash on the Feet.
Those things ought to be banned from the workplace.
Women who wear those things often say they wear them because they are doing it for themselves or that they give them "power," but they will never admit the reason they wear them is to get male attention. High heels are considered a symbol of bondage, of sadomasochism. They also help make women more sexually available by restricting movement and by altering posture.
Women aren't kidding themselves when they wear this shit; they remind me of the old Chinese footbinding that restricted movement.
Here is yet another piece about shit called "shoes":
Many women will do all kinds of stupid things to try and attract male attention.
You'd think after all these years and advances in women's rights, this shit would go out of style once and for all.
It did for years after the early 1960s. Stilettos were popular in the fifties, but then women got smart and went for comfort.
For some damned reason these garbage shoes came back into style. I have to admit I don't see the majority of women wearing them to any extent, which is a good thing, but far too many of them do.

Wearing high heels can also cause inflammation of the connective tissue at the bottom of the foot, the plantar fascia. That can result in severe heel pain and the need for aggressive treatments such as oral anti-inflammatories, oral steroids, cortisone injections, walking boots and crutches.
All of these conditions can be incredibly painful, requiring corticosteroid shots and, ideally, flatter and wider shoes. His patients will take the shots, but give up the shoes?
Women, Liebow says, “will wear their high-heeled shoes until their feet are bloody stumps.”
