is wrong in the head about driver's licenses for illegals.

They are in favor of unlimited immigration into the United States, which gives the lie they give a shit about workers' rights. The only reason illegals are here is because employers use them to depress the wage base of ALL American workers.

Democratic candidates had better watch their step with regard to the immigration issue.

In truth there is VERY little support out there in favor of illegal immigration, so Democrats just need to emphasize LEGAL immigration so as not to offend certain segments of the Hispanic population.

The reason for all of the illegal immigration is that employers want to drive down wages for jobs that can't be outsourced to other countries.

Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton SO screwed up on the drivers license question at the last debate, she basically took herself out of any chance of winning the White House, which wasn't going to happen anyway.

By trying to avoid answering the question directly by pandering to Hispanics, independents, and Republicans with her non-answers, she pleased NOBODY and provided opponents with ammo to shoot her down with.

is the context of the Clinton remarks on immigration. It is actually worse in context than in the ad below:



She lost any chance of ever winning the White House on this issue alone.

shows its support of unfettered illegal immigration by attacking congressional proposals to curb it.

This is one issue where this outfit, which is Trotskyite in its beliefs, really shows how far out of the mainstream it is (although it often has some good insights into some events and issues). They won't admit the whole purpose of exploiting illegal immigrants is to lower living standards of American workers by corporations, the same corporations that the WSWS condemns for outsourcing and the like.

Actually, insourcing of illegals complements perfectly outsourcing of jobs overseas. The ultimate objective is the same.

If there were any protests at my school, I didn't notice it. Last year a bunch of kids did, but they had no idea what they were protesting.

In any case, people need to quit this nonsense that the protests have anything to do with "immigrant" rights. This instead is supporting employers exploiting undocumented workers for profit.
