and their handmaidens in the media are hoping somehow to turn the torture issue against Democrats, despite the fact the GOP and its previous administration are responsible for Gitmo, etc.
Many Supporters of Obama
are not very happy with his administration's decision not to prosecute Bush officials who sanctioned torture.
