No matter who gets the nomination, some supporters of either candidate are going to sit this one out if the candidate they back isn't nominated.

This is especially true with Clinton supporters who feel she has gotten the shaft from Day One.

Superdelegates may have a better reason to back Hillary Clinton than Barack Obama:

Obama supporters were more likely to vote in the presidential race and then skip the other contests than Clinton supporters, who tended to continue voting down the ballot, a Dallas Morning News analysis finds.

This is Texas, but I am sure this is true all over the country.
