More Rovian Spin
in an attempt to up Bush's poll numbers to talk about how focused he is. In the article, not everybody is impressed with the "bold," "pious," "focused," or whatever adjective of the week is used to describe our little dictator.
The article is laughable, though, in trying to persuade the reader Bush is really a man in charge. He is "focused" in the sense he is bullheaded beyond all reason. It's the type of focus characteristic of schoolyard bullies. In the words of one scholar quoted in the article, Bush might drive the country "over a cliff."
It's another Rove-inspired piece for sure despite some barbs by some observers quoted.
