I Watched the Replay
of the first Democratic debate. Not that any candidate had a real chance to present his or her views given the number of candidates and the format, but I am still not impressed with them as a whole.
It's true that any of them are better than Bush--including Lieberman--but that's a case of lowered expectations. This is perhaps the weakest group of candidates in memory.
Of all of them, Graham might be the best one, but he looks very tired. I'd be a bit concerned about his health. Dean just came across as insufferably arrogant, the stereotypical M.D. who thinks we should pay more attention to him on medical care than the others because he's the only one who is a doctor.
Well, I take doctors' opinions about nonmedical matters with a grain of salt. After all, most of them are Republicans.
God, Gore needs to get back in the race.
