Joan Vennochi
acquits herself a little bit in her review of Triumph of the Shill by raising that uncomfortable tidbit about Bush going AWOL.
It appears that since Jimmy Breslin brought up that widely underreported fact this past weekend, more and more commentators (except Howard Kurtz but for his defense of his ignoring it, of course) are bringing this up also.
