writes about the upset of the year.

What is funny is sports writers and sportscasters keep referring to Empire Maker being "royally bred." The term "royally bred" usually refers to horses who have world-class pedigrees. Empire Maker's pedigree isn't any better than Funny Cide's. What writers are trying to do is be funny because the owners of Empire Maker are members of the Saudi royal family. You know, we Muricans are better than those Arab owners although Juddmonte Farm has had a very good reputation for racing quality horses.

I simply get fucking sick and tired of people trying to politicize everything. They also pulled this crap last year when War Emblem won the Kentucky Derby (remember, he was owned by a member of the Saudi Royal family--the Thoroughbred Corporation, not Juddmonte--but sadly passed away weeks later).
