the filibuster should not be eliminated. Since we have one party running the whole shebang, and it is a party that seeks to absolutely destroy one hundred years of progress, it is VITAL there be a tool to keep the government in check.
Without the filibuster we are SUNK as a country. EVERYTHING helping the vast majority of Americans would be repealed. Without this arcane device, we might just as well have a unicameral legislature.
This is so obvious, and no amount of nonsense by Noah, Caro, or anybody painting himself or herself an "expert" will change that fact. Our country is literally hanging by a thread now.
