Like the Rising Phoenix,

John Kerry rises from the ashes of the politically dead. The article still comes up with the usual spin, you know, Kerry is aloof and all of that shit, and Edwards is "Clinton without the personal baggage" [as if the GOP wouldn't fabricate stories, mind you], and so on.

But thanks to his excellent performance on MTP and his greater visibility, he will be getting more favorable coverage as time goes on. He's also getting coverage because he will announce his candidacy in a couple of days. But the reporters tend to overstate everything. The reason NONE of the candidates has received visibility is because nobody does major campaigning until after Labor Day. They are busy with the getting the groundwork done before going into full campaign mode. As I've said, Dean did what he did because he had to.

Amateur hour is over, and the big game begins.
